The following slides and videos are about Stroke Thrombosis Training. Thankfully, they are provided to us by Dr Indira Natarajan, clinical director of neurosciences and Stroke Lead at the Royal Stoke Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. They will be very useful to NHS junior doctors interested in Stroke as well as doctors and Stroke teams outside the UK. We endeavour to provide updates about Stroke Thrombolysis and more material about Stroke in the future.

What is a stroke?
Stroke is a devastating medical condition which can cause long lasting damage and disability if not treated urgently. It is a medical emergency. Each minute, the brain loses around two million cells. So, very urgent and early treatment will lead to good recovery and avoidance of long term physical and mental disability.
